Abstract

Buluş, tarım veya bahçecilik ürünleri ile doldurulmuş bir kapatılabilir boşluktaki atmosferin kontrol edilmesine yönelik bir yöntem ile ilgilidir. Yöntem, tarım veya bahçecilik ürünlerinin respirasyonunun direkt olarak saptanması ve saptanan respirasyona maruz kalan boşluktaki bir oksijen içeriği, bir karbon dioksit içeriği ve/veya bir nitrojen içeriğinin ayarlanmasını içermektedir. Respirasyon burada her bir durumda belirlenen bir süre boyunca olmak üzere periyodik olarak saptanmaktadır ve boşluk, respirasyonun saptanması sırasında harici etkilere karşı mühürlenmektedir. Başlangıç noktası olarak asıl respirasyonun alınması ile oldukça iyi bir kontrol elde edilmektedir ve saptama tamamen izole edilmiş bir atmosferde bir süre boyunca periyodik olarak gerçekleştirildiğinde bu kontrol bazında yüksek oranda güvenilir bir saptama oluşmaktadır. Buluş ayrıca, yöntemin gerçekleştirilmesine yönelik bir tertibat ve bu tür bir tertibat sağlanan bir kapatılabilir boşluk ile ilgilidir.
