Abstract
Yakıt inertleme sistemleri ve yakıt tanklarının inertlenmesi için yöntemler açıklanmaktadır. Bir yakıt inertleme sistemi (100) giriş havasını almak için bir hava giriş geçidini (111), alındığında giriş havasından oksijeni ayırmak için hava ayırma modüllerini (160) ve hava giriş geçidi ile hava ayırma modülleri arasında bağlanan hava ayırma modülü valflerini (150) içerebilmektedir. Hava ayırma modülü valfleri, hava ayırma modülü valflerinden birinin açılmasının hava giriş geçidinden gelen giriş havası kısmını bu hava ayırma modülü valfi ile irtibatlı olan hava ayırma modülüne geçireceği şekilde hava ayırma modülleri ile irtibatlandırılmıştır. Bir kontrolör (190) hava ayırma modüllerinden her birinin esasen eşit seviyede aşınma alacağı şekilde hava ayırma modülü valflerini seçmeli olarak açmaktadır.
