Abstract

İçten yanmalı motorların emme ve egzoz fazlarını yapmak üzere tasarlanmış, kam tahrik mekanizması ile silindir dış yüzeyinde dönerek çalışan valf sistemidir. Tasarlanan valf mekanizması vasıtasıyla; motor emme açısına geldiğinde silindir yüzeyindeki kanalların valf üst yüzeyine bağlanan kanallar ile üst üste gelmesiyle silindir içerisine hava-yakıt emişinin yapılmasına, valf hava kanalları arasındaki düz yüzeyin silindir üzerindeki kanala denk gelmesi sonucu temas eden iki yüzey arası yağ filmi tabakası oluşturularak sıkıştırma ve yanma basınçlarının korunmasına ve motor egzoz açısına geldiğinde ise silindir üzerindeki kanalların valfin alt yüzeyine bağlanan kanalları ile üst üste gelmesiyle yanmış gazların dışarı çıkması sağlanmaktadır. Bu sistemin uygulanması ile içten yanmalı motorlarda karşılıklı çalışan iki piston yerleştirilerek üst ölü noktadan kaçırılmış bir noktada sıkıştırmanın oluşturulması ile daha yüksek torkun alınacağı krank açılarında yanma başlangıcının oluşması sağlanmaktadır.
