Abstract

A valve system, operated by rotating on the cam drive mechanism and the outer surface of the cylinder. Compression and combustion pressure is preserved by forming an oil film layer between the two surfaces that are in contact with each other when the flat surface of the valve air channels correspond to the channel located on the cylinder. Application of this system will provide a combustion start-up at crank angles wherein higher amount of torque will be obtained by forming compression at a point away from the upper dead center by positioning two corresponding pistons inside internal combustion engines.

Claims

8 AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 08 February 201 1 (08.02.201 1 )
1. A rotary valve system for internal combustion engines which provides air movements during intake, compression and exhaust phases by means of 5 positioning of the air channels located on the outer surface of the cylinder jacket(3) and the air channels located on the rotary valve(1) at different angles of the engine and the rotary valve(1) moves rotating on the surface of cylinder jacket(3) characterized in that it comprises;
• a cam following shaft (2) operating in relation with the lower crank shaft0 (13),
• air channels positioned between the lower (7) and upper (8) engine block,
• a cylinder (3) jacket with air channels is located stably between the lower (7) and upper(8) engine block
5 2. A cam following shaft (2) for a rotary valve (1) system according to claim 1 characterized in that; in order to conform angular regularity of engine by transmitting rotation to valve(1) by means of contacting teeth, it has air channels match up with the mentioned teeth.
3. A system according to claim 1 characterized in that in order to provide0 impermeability, it has oil film located on closed curved surface occurred between cylinder (3) air channels and valve (1) air channels while contacting during rotation of valve.
4. A valve system according to claim 1 characterized in that it has pistons (4, 5), capable of moving separately, located on the top(5) and on the bottom(4) of5 the cylinder jacket(3).
5. A system according to any of the claims 1 to 4 characterized in that; in order to provide higher torque curve; piston surface area is doubled when the pressure inside cylinder is low during the upward movement of upper piston (5).
6. A valve (1) according to claim 1 is characterized that; in order to provide a0 more homogenous distribution of fuel-air mixture inside the cylinder jacket(3), it has air channels in an inclined manner.

STATEMENT UNDER ARTICLE 19(1)

In the application in order to solve clarification problem mentioned in point 2 of written opinion, first of all corrections related to reference numbers was performed in whole description and claims. The sentence structures both in description and claims was also changed the make application more clear. This is done because translation from Turkish priority document to English was done in erroneous ways which cause clarity problems.
