Eksen dingilinin özelligi, birinci ve ikinci dingillerinin kasanin yanal yüzünün yüzeyine paralel olacak sekilde ayni düzlem üzerinde bulunmasi; kapinin kapatilmasi sirasinda ikinci eksen dingilini tasiyan levha ile kapi arasinda angaje edilmis elastik bir contanin mafsalin hareket kolunu olusturan levhaya karsi bir dayanak olusturmasi ve dönüs dingili etrafindaki eksen dönüsünü destekleyen ilk eksenin söz konusu dönüsü engellemesidir.
