Toksik olmayan ve korosiv olmayan bir patlayici karisimi enerji sistemi ile piroteknik sistemi birlestirerek olusturulur. Enerji sistemi nitrojen esterler ve nitrojen aminler gibi gruplardan ve aktivasyonu için tetrazin ya da tetrazol türevleri tipinde bir yatistiricidan olusur. Piroteknik sistem metallerin peroksit ve oksitler gruplarindan ya da oksijen içeren inorganik asitlerin bir tuz grubundan bir oksitleme maddesi ve amorf bor olan bir yakit içerir. Karisim tercihen toz cami olan bir sürtünme maddesi ile desteklenir. Nitrojen selüloz, poli vinil alkol ve akasya sakizi bag olusturma maddeleri olarak kullanilirlar. Karisimlar primerlerin üretimi için barut üretimi için barut üretimi alaninda özellikle de merkezi atesleme fisekleri için faydalidir.
