Abstract

Çökelmis silika, bir alkali metali silikatin (tercihan soda su- cam), sürekli karistirma ile, pH 7.0-11'da 60-95 C sicakliklarda mineral asitleri (tercihan sülfürik asit) ile reaksiyona sokuldugu bir islem ile hazirlanmakta, islem, 40g-100g bir kati konsantrasyonuna kadar sürdürülmekte, pH3 ve 5 arasinda bir degere ayarlanmakta, ve çöken silika süzülüp ayrilmakta, yikanmakta ve sonra kurutulmakta ve uygunsa, ögütülmekte ya zerrelestirilmektedir. Bu çökelmis silika, lastiklerin üretimi için vulkanize edilebilir karisimlarda bir dolgu maddesi olarak kullanilmaktadir.
