Description
The invention relates to chemical-thermal imaging (a flow of titanium alloys, in particular, compositions for diffusion siliconizing. The composition can be used to improve the wear and heat resistance of products made of titanium and its alloys in the aviation, chemical, instrument-making, engineering and other industries A composition for siliconizing titanium alloys is known, containing, wt.% silicon dioxide 70, aluminum powder 30; sodium fluoride GO Siliconization process in a known composition is carried out with temperature 900-IOOO C, for 2-6 hours (depending on the required thickness. So, when siliconizing titanium alloy VT1, a diffusion layer with a thickness of kQ microns is formed for 6 hours. The closest to the known technical solution is the composition for siliconizing, containing the following components with the following ratio of them: cs: silica 24-30, aluminum powder 12-I, copper powder ЗQ-3, tin powder, aluminum fluoride 1-3, alumina else. When siliconizing at 900 ° C for kh, layers of 95-100 µm 2 are formed. A disadvantage of the known methods is insufficient saturating capacity. The aim of the invention is to increase the saturability of the composition. This goal is achieved by additionally adding a known compound containing silicon dioxide, aluminum powder, copper powder, aluminum oxide and aluminum fluoride, zinc powder in the following ratio of components, May: Silicon Dioxide 25.3 Aluminum Powder 12-16 Copper Powder jO Powder of zinc 7 11 Aluminum fluoride 3 Alumina Rest The process of siliconization of titanium alloys in the proposed composition is carried out at 750-900 ° C, i.e. below the 9 239 polymorphic transformations for 2-6 hours. Example, The treatment is carried out with | titanium products with for Comparative data on the saturability of the proposed and known compositions are given in the table.
