Abstract

A belt conveyor arrangement is disclosed in which the conveyor belt is driven by two drive cables which frictionally engage the undersurface of its upper run. The undersurface of the belt is provided with a first pair of immediately adjacent grooves near one belt edge and a second pair of similar grooves near the opposite belt edge, the grooves being arranged to frictionally receive the drive cables for driving the belt. One drive cable is periodically led out of one groove of the first pair, trained round the drive pulley, and then led back into the other groove of the first pair at substantially the same position as the exit position. The other drive cable is similarly arranged in relation to the second pair of grooves.

Description

The invention relates to industrial transport equipment. A belt-cable conveyor is known, which includes a drive, driving and guiding pulleys, driving rope tape with longitudinal grooves. The disadvantage of the conveyor is design complexity. Another belt conveyor is known, which includes a drive, driving and guide pulleys, driving ropes, a belt, along the edges of which there are longitudinal grooves on the working side and a pair of longitudinal grooves on the non-working side. The disadvantage of this design is low reliability in work due to the presence of zones in which there is sagging ropes. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the conveyor by reducing the sagging of the ropes in the drive areas. This goal is achieved by the fact that the ropes are arranged in the form of two turns in the installation area of the drive, with the ends of the ropes installed with the possibility of continuous interaction with the different grooves of each pair. Figure 1 shows the conveyor on the installation site of the drive, side view in FIG. 2 - the same, top view} in FIG. 3 - the tape; in FIG. 4 - the same, with the protrusions of the ropes. The conveyor includes end drums (not shown in the drawing), belt 1, drive ropes 2 and 3, drive 4, drive 5 and guides 6-8 pulleys. On the working side of the tape along the edges there are longitudinal grooves 9 and 10, and on the non-working side there are a pair of longitudinal grooves 11, 12 and 13,14. Internal grooves can be made in the form of protrusions. The pulleys 7 have a vertical axis of rotation, and the pulleys 6 and pulleys 8 of smaller diameter have a horizontal axis of rotation. The ropes in the installation area are arranged in two turns. The first turn covers shk1tvy 7.5 and 6, and the second turn pulleys 6.7 and 8. The ropes are stored as follows. Before entering the pulleys 7, the ropes are placed in the grooves 12 and 13. After passing the pulleys 5-8, the ropes enter the grooves 11 and 14. Thus, the ends of the rollers of the ropes continuously interact with the grooves. In addition, the conveyor has a compact arrangement of nodes.
