Description
The invention relates to the technology of producing purified turpentine used as a raw material for organic synthesis.
A known method of purification of sulfate turpentine from sulfur compounds by treating it with an alkaline solution of sodium hypochlorite, containing 150 g / l of active chlorine. After the sodium hypochlorite solution is separated, the turpentine is washed with water and then treated with 15% sulfuric acid and again washed with water. Turpentine refined by this method contains up to 0.04% sulfur compounds and cannot be used as a raw material for such catalytic processes, where sulfur is a catalyst house, for example, in the synthesis of dust and camphor.
According to the invention, in order to obtain turpentine that does not contain sulfur compounds, it is processed in the presence of a mineral acid.
Sulfate turpentine obtained after vacuum rectification is treated with sodium hypochlorite solution (active chlorine content 150-240) in an acidic medium (pH 3.5-5.0) at a temperature of 10-40 ° С for 20-60 minutes. After settling and removing the spent acidic layer, the purified turpentine is neutralized with an alkali solution.
промывают водой и сущат обычными методами .washed with water and using conventional methods.
К 25 ж. Example 1. 25 ml of sodium hypochlorite solution and at the same time 30 ml of 10% hydrochloric acid are poured in on 25 gallons of sulphate turpentine while moving and at a temperature of 20-25 ° C. The spent acidic solution is removed after settling. Turpentine after washing with water and drying with salt does not contain sulfur compounds.
Example 2. To 25 ml of sulphate turpentine with a sulfur content of 170 mg1l, add 37 ml of 10% hydrochloric acid, stir at 20-25 ° C and pour sodium hypochlorite solution containing 240 g / l of active chlorine for 30 minutes . Intensive stirring is continued for another 15 minutes, and then the spent acidic solution is removed after settling. Turpentine is neutralized with a dilute alkali solution, washed with water and dried.
60,4Purified turpentine has the following chemical composition (%): a-Pinen60,4
р-Пинен2,5 3 Предмет изобретени Способ очистки сульфатного скипидара от сернистых соединений путем обработки раствором гипохлорита натри с последующей 5 4 нейтрализацией, промывкой водой и сушкой, отличающийс тем, что, с целью получени скипидара, не содержащего сернистых соединений , обработку провод т в присутствии минеральной кислоты.p-Pinen 2.5 3 Subject of the Invention A method for purifying sulfate turpentine from sulfur compounds by treating with sodium hypochlorite solution followed by neutralization, washing with water and drying, characterized in that, in order to obtain turpentine containing no sulfur compounds, the treatment is carried out the presence of mineral acid.
