Description

This invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery.

The aim of the invention is to preserve the cortical layer of bone by performing a one-step operation, during which the edges of the skin along the periphery of the defect are removed to viable areas, a full-layer skin flap is formed with cellulose on the vascular pedicle and is laid directly on the bone, devoid of periosteum, stitching it to the edge m skin defect separate seams.

The method is carried out as follows.

After prior radiological control (if there are no osteomyelitis of the bones of the skull), dead tissue is removed during the operation, and the edges of the skin are dissected around the wound perimeter within healthy tissues. The bare bone, devoid of the periosteum, is carefully treated with antiseptic solutions, covered with a skin-subcutaneous flap on the supplying vascular pedicle, cut around the perimeter of the wound. The flap is stitched to the edges of the defect with interrupted sutures.

A non-free full-thickness skin flap replaces the periosteum, after 4-5 days it is firmly fixed to the bone.
