Abstract

The cabin of a forklift consists of a frame (1), for which is by a holder or by a sheet metal frame attached to the perimeter a front glass part (2). Description

The technical solution relates to the cab of the forklift truck for increased driver comfort.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The well-known forklift panel cabins consist of a front section, a roof section, a rear section and a hinged door.

The front part is fitted with a glass with a wiper (or a windshield washer on request), it is attached to the protective frame of the forklift truck (hereinafter referred to as VZV) by means of individual holders or by a metal frame around the perimeter of the glass.

The roof piece is made of sheet metal with a forward-facing glass for the driver and is attached to the protective frame 17 by screws. VZVs are also known in which the roof piece is made of a soft PVC foil with a front-facing view of the driver and is fastened to the VZV frame by means of self-adhesive Velcro fasteners.

The back panel is either rigid or openable and is either fitted with glass or made of soft PVC foil. When fitted with glass, it is attached to the VZV protective frame by means of a holder or a metal frame around the perimeter of the glass. The rear part of soft PVC foil has a driver's view and is attached to the VZV protective frame with self-adhesive Velcro fasteners. It opens with sewn zippers.

The doors are either sheet metal with glass driver's view or are made of soft PVC foil with driver's view left and right. If sheet metal doors are fitted with glass, they are then fixed to the VZV protective frame by means of screws. The door is equipped with an openable window, lock for lock and gas strut for comfortable opening. Doors made of soft PVC foil are attached to the protective frame using self-adhesive Velcro fasteners and can be opened with sewn zippers and can be rolled up from above, especially during the summer months.

The drawbacks of cabs made of sheet-glass combination are high weight, which causes gradual destruction of silnet blocks attached to the protective frame, to the chassis of the forklift, as well as frequent glass breakage, high price of the cab including spare parts. The disadvantages of glass-filled and soft PVC-filled cabins are low protection from cold, inadequate protection from foreign persons, foil creasing during long-term roll-up in the summer and thus impaired visibility during repeated use.

The essence of the technical solution

The known drawbacks of existing forklift cabs are overcome by a cab according to the invention consisting of a protective frame to which a front glazed part is attached to the periphery by means of a holder or a metal frame. The cab also includes a roof panel, a rear panel, a left hinged door and a right hinged door. The principle of the technical solution consists in that the roof part and the back part are filled with polycarbonate board or polyacrylate board fixed to the protective frame by fastening elements or fixed to the protective frame by gluing. The left hinged door and the right hinged door are divided by a steel reinforcement element at the bottom and top. The lower part is filled with a polycarbonate board or polyacrylate board, the upper part contains a polycarbonate board or polyacrylate board, and the glass opening window is fixed in the window profile. The window profile consists of three ribs, one rib comprising an elongated portion which extends down to the lower portions of the left and right portions respectively. right-hinged doors. A polycarbonate board or polyacrylate board is attached between the elongate portion and the reinforcing element.

The advantages of the technical solution are the driver's safety protection, long life of the cab, protection of the cab against unauthorized use, low production cost, unbreakable material of used plastic boards and low weight of the cab.

Example

The cab of a forklift truck 100 consisting of a protective frame 1, to which a front glazed part 2 is attached via openings 11 by means of a holder. This front glazed part 2 can also be attached to the protective frame 1 by gluing. A roof panel 3 and a back panel 4, which are made of polycarbonate board 20 or polyacrylate board 21 (Figs. 1 and 2), are attached to the protective frame 1 by means of fasteners (not shown) or by gluing. The rear panel 4 can be fixed or openable. Attached to the protective frame 1 are a left hinged door 5 with a stiffening element 51 and a right hinged door 6 with a stiffening element 61 (Figs. 1 to 4). The stiffening element 51 divides the left hinged door 5 into the lower part 52 and the upper part 53. The stiffening element 61 divides the right hinged door 6 into the lower part 62 and the upper part 63. Both the lower part 52 and the lower part 62 are filled with polycarbonate board 20 or polyacrylate board. The upper portions 53 and 63 are filled with a polycarbonate plate 20 or a polyacrylate plate 21 and comprise a glass window 7. The glass window 7 is formed by a rigid glass 71 and a sliding glass 72, which is fixed in a window profile 8, e.g. made of plastic. The window profile 8 consists of three ribs 81, 82 and 83, the rib 83 comprising an elongated portion 831 extending into the lower portions 52 and 62 of the left and right portions, respectively. A polycarbonate plate 20 or a polyacrylate plate 21 is attached between the elongated portion 831 and the reinforced element 51, 61. A rubber gasket 9 is arranged between the glasses 71 and 72 (FIG. 5).
