Predmet izuma se nanaša na opečni izdelek v obliki votle zidne opeke (t.i. kvadra), ki ga izdelamo na nov način in je z uporabo le-tega nov tudi način izdelave zidov v gradbeništvu, zlasti nosilnih, ki so novi zlasti z vidika izolacije kot tudi sestave; pri njih gre namreč za zapolnitev vseh votlih prostorov in je vanje moč vgraditi armaturo, tako da zid postane notranje prepletena zgradba.The subject of the invention relates to a brick product in the form of a hollow masonry brick (so-called square), which is made in a new way and using it is also a new way of making walls in construction, especially load-bearing ones, which are new especially in terms of insulation as well as composition; they are intended to fill all the hollow spaces and can be fitted with reinforcement so that the wall becomes an internally interwoven structure.

Votla zidna opeka po izumu je sicer standardnih dimenzij in ima standardne votline, toda novost je v žlebovih, ki potekajo po vsej dolžini in višini opeke, t.j. na štirih straneh, v danem primeru zgornji, spodnji in na dveh bočnih straneh, pri čemer simetrala žleba sovpada s simetralo opeke in je širina žleba manjša od debeline opeke. Vse omenjene plaščne žlebove zapolnimo s polnilnim gradivom z vgraditvijo armature ali brez nje in obenem zapolnimo tudi notranje votline votle zidne opeke, tako da se polnilno gradivo pri stikih na ven ne vidi na nobeno od dveh površin zidu. It is also easier to determine the height and width of the wall, since they are pure multiples of the relevant dimensions of the brick, which has constant dimensions, while the calculation of the wall with filled joints is only risky.
