Abstract

The solid-fuel combustion device is for burning finely divided material such as peat, chips, sawdust, plastics or rubber products, domestic refuse or pit coal or coke. The device has a fuel-metering hopper connected via a shaft containing a reciprocating metering ram with a furnace.
