Abstract

A lighting fixture has a reflector (1) with a focal point (F), a light source which is formed by a lamp (6) and its filament (7) and is arranged approximately at the focal point (F) of the reflector (1), a coloured transparent bell (15) surrounding the light source (6, 7), and a cover pane (10) sealing the reflector (1). The bell (15) is surrounded by a hood (16) whose wall is transparent and colourless and has in the interior of the hood (16) a relatively large number of catadioptric surfaces (22, 26) which form a relatively large number of zones (18, 17) which reflect outwards from the hood (16). The hood (16) has, moreover, a smaller number of non-reflecting, colourless, transparent zones (19). <IMAGE>
