Abstract

The trailer coupling has a supporting element 1 adapted to be secured to the vehicle and to which a neck 3 carrying a ball coupling 4 can be secured by a taper pin 5. The neck 3 has an internal, stepped, bore slidable onto a cylindrical surface of the supporting element 1. The neck has aligned holes and a weld nut to which the taper pin 5 is in use, threadedly engaged, whilst the supporting element 1 has a correspondingly tapered bore. Rotation of the pin is prevented by a spring clip provided with a chain to secure it to the neck 3. <IMAGE>
