Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of a gage from a body to be inspected by a constitution wherein two divided gage members are expanded outward by a spring when a female scrw part is inspected, and are drawn near against the spring by two electromagnets when the gage is taken out. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inspection, a piston head member 13a is pressed against a stopper 12a by a spring 14, divided gage members 1 and 2 are thereby fixed, and screw surfaces 3 and 4 are positioned on the lead surface of a normal gage screw. Then, the inspection is performed by screwing the divided gage members 1 and 2 into the female screw part 16 of a body 15 to be inspected by means of a grip 11. At the time point when the inspection is completed, a power supply is connected to input terinals 21 and 22 to excite electromagnets 9 and 10 and thereby the divided gage members 1 and 2 are drawn near against the spring 14. In this way, the gage members 1 and 2 are drawn out easily from the inspected body 15.
