Abstract

The device has a housing (20) in which is arranged a main brake valve (3), which is actuated by compressed air as a function of the angular position of a lever (2). In the housing (20) two reversing servo valves (4, 5) are furthermore arranged, which are also controlled by compressed air as a function of the angular position of the lever (2). The main valve (3) and the two servo valves (4, 5) are controlled by a cam member (2a) connected to the lever (2). The shifting of each servo valve (4, 5) into an angular position different from the lever (2) is triggered by the cam member. Each servo valve (4, 5) is accommodated in a separate housing bore (22, 23), which bores are arranged on both sides of the central housing bore (21) for the main valve (3). The space required by such a brake valve device is reduced compared to known brake valve devices, assembly is simplified and the manufacturing costs reduced.
