Description
450 276 2 avgasventilen 16 är öppen. Insatsen 24 har en utmatnings- öppning 26. En stödfläns 27 är fastsatt vid insatsen 24 på en plats intill utmatningsöppningen 26, och denna stödfläns är i kontakt med en fläns 30 utformad vid ingångsänden till ett avgasrör 31, 'som sträcker sig in i ett avgasgrenrör 32.
Flänsarna 27 och 30 är hopklämda med hjälp av konventionella organ (visas ej), vilka klämmer fast avgasgrenröret 32 vid topplocket 12. Flänsen 27 utgör ett tillslutningselement som tillsluter nedströmsänden av det rörformiga utrymme, som avgränsas mellan insatsen 24 och avgaskanalens 21 väggar för att på så sätt förhindra återströmning av avgaser in i detta utrymme. Följden blir att vid körning detta utrymme fylls med ett värmeisolerande skikt av i huvudsak stillastående avgaser som kommer in från insatsens uppströmsände, vilket skikt - minskar värmeförlusterna från insatsen till avgaskanalens väggar. Detta arrangemang utgör grunden för vår svenska patentansökan 7604294-4 från vilken föreliggande ansökan är avdelad.
Insatsen 24 har ett främre parti 34, vilket har en öppning 35 däri, genom vilket ventilskaftet 17 sträcker sig.
Insatsen 24 innefattar ett omgivande metallhölje 43 som innehåller en mantel av värmeisolerande material 41. En del 44 av höljet 43 omger den främre delen 34 av insatsen 24 och innehåller även värmeisolerande material 41. Insatsen 24 innefattande höljet 43 är åtskild från de väggar som bildar avgasportskanalen 21. Det framgår sålunda att i huvudsak hela insatsen är mantlad med värmeisolerande material förutom i området för öppningen 35. fr, s*
Claims (3)
1. Förbränningsmotor med inre förbränning och med en avgaskanal (21), som sträcker sig från en avgasventil (16L samt med en avgaskanalsinsats (24) i nämnda avgaskanal och åtskild från kanalens väggar, vilken insats (24) åtminstone delvis är mantlad med värmeisolerande material (41), k ä n- n e t e c k n a d av att det värmeisolerande materialet (41) är inneslutet av ett hölje (43), som omger insatsen (24) och som är åtskilt från avgaskanalens (21) väggar.
2. Förbränningsmotor enligt krav 1, k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att ett skikt av nämnda värmeisolerande material (4lL vilket även är inneslutet av nämnda hölje (43), omger insatsens (24) ingångsöppning (25).
3. Förbränningsmotor enligt krav 1 eller 2, k ä n n e- t e c k n a d av att avgasventilens (16) skaft (17) sträcker sig genom en öppning (35) i insatsen (24) och av att i huvudsak hela insatsen (24) är mantlad med nämnda värmeisole~ rande material (41) förutom i området för nämnda öppning (35). __...__.___...._.....__.--.. _.
