Abstract

1305811 Doctor blade holders MASCHINENFABRIK WINKLER FALLERT & CO AG 12 Feb 1970 [12 Feb 1969] 6899/70 Heading B6C The clothes-peg like doctor blade holder of Fig. 3 is used in a printing machine with a mounting device 13, Fig. 2, the latter carrying a series of interconnected hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder and piston assemblies 16, 18 by which the blade holder is actuated to release the blade 14 therefrom. A series of spring and pin arrangements 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Fig. 1, are used to hold the blade 14 within the holder and the pistons 18, when actuated, causes the arms 1, 2 of the holder to part against the pressure of the springs.
