Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturise and reduce the weight of an air-tight door holder by a one door air pressure-liquid pressure conversion device for use in holding two doors air-tight.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an air-pressure hydraulic-pressure conversion device 4 for use in feeding and discharging hydraulic pressure against door pressing cylinders 14, 14a for pressing two doors 1, 1a at both sides of a motor vehicle, an electro-magnetic change-over valve 3 and a pilot change-over valve 13 etc. When a solenoid 33 of the electro-magnetic change-over valve 3 is deenergized, the air is fed to an air cylinder 5 and, at the same time, the pilot change-over valve 13 is changed over. The air pressure in the air pressure-hydraulic pressure transformation device 4 and the hydraulic cylinder pistons 7 and 8 are moved to the right, a check- valve 12 is moved away from a stopper 11, the hydraulic pressure is fed to the door pressing cylinder 14 via a check valve 13b and the line 17 whereby the door 1 becomes air-tight. When a solenoid 34 is deenergized, the door 1a becomes air-tight.
