[Also in Division B2] Moist material is dried during crushing in an impact crusher (see Division B2) by a stream of hot gas applied via an opening 2 beneath the crusher, and fed partly through the material between the impactors 4 and partly along bypasses 17. The gas entrains the crushed material and carries it to a separator (not shown) via an opening 3, through which moist material to be crushed is fed to the crusher.
