Изобретение относится к металлургии, к непрерывной разливке металлов. Технический эффект при использовании изобретения заключается в повышении производительности процесса получения непрерывнолитых слитков высокого качества, а также в повышении производительности и эффективности процесса поточного вакуумирования. Указанный технический эффект достигается тем, что подают жидкий металл из разливочного ковша в вакуум-камеру, обрабатывают металл в вакуум-камере, подают металл в промежуточный ковш через патрубок и далее в кристаллизаторы. Металл подают в промежуточный ковш через два патрубка. После подъема уровня металла в промежуточном ковше выше нижних торцов патрубков и герметизации вакуум-камеры жидким металлом в патрубки попеременно периодически подают инертный газ и дополнительно к струйному вакуумированию осуществляют процесс циркуляционного вакуумирования. В процессе вакуумной обработки периодически изменяют направление движения металла в каждом патрубке на противоположное.
