The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to engine building, including internal combustion engines. The two-stroke internal combustion engine contains the main and auxiliary cylinders in communication with the common combustion chamber, in which the main and auxiliary pistons are mechanically connected to the output shaft, the intake cylinder, the exhaust and purge channels, and the spark plug installed in the combustion chamber. New in the engine is that a fuel channel is connected to the side surface of the auxiliary cylinder, and the auxiliary piston is made in the form of a plunger. The fuel channel is located on the side surface of the auxiliary cylinder near the point occupied by the end working surface of the plunger at bottom dead center. A check valve is installed in the path of the fuel channel. The plunger is parallel to the main piston and connected to it with a common piston pin. The common combustion chamber is made in the form of a vortex chamber, with which the auxiliary cylinder is communicated through a short radial channel, and the main cylinder is communicated through the tangential channel. Additional channels are connected to the side surface of the auxiliary cylinder, in particular a water supply channel.
