Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine, and in particular to methods of treating calf salmonellosis.
Typically, the clinical manifestation of salmonellosis in calves begins with signs of dysfunction of the gastrointestinal tract. Bacteria as a result of their vital activity and with active reproduction secrete endotoxins that enter the circulatory and lymphatic systems. Then there are signs of lung damage, rhinitis, arthritis and other symptoms.
At the same time, it is known that the occurrence and development of salmonellosis in calves is often caused by a significant decrease in the natural resistance of their body and the appearance of secondary immunodeficiencies.
2018. №1 (69). С. 131-134].In this regard, at present the urgent task is to develop a method for treating calf salmonellosis with the help of combined antimicrobial drugs, which include not only antibacterial components, but also rehydrating agents and detoxicants, as well as immunostimulants, as a result of which the therapeutic efficacy of veterinary measures [Galiyeva Z.A., Ilyasova Z.Z., Gazeev I.R., Ziyangirova S.R. An effective method of treating diarrhea of young cattle // News of the Orenburg State Agrarian University. 2018. №1 (69). Pp. 131-134].
После введения препарата животные имеют свободный доступ к воде [Инструкция по применению Аправет водорастворимый порошок для лечения желудочно-кишечных заболеваний бактериальной этиологии у телят, поросят, ягнят и цыплят. https://galen.vetrf.ru].There is a method of treating salmonellosis in calves, in which the water-soluble powder is used as an etiotropic agent - an antibacterial drug, 1 g of which contains 500 mg of apramycin sulfate, belonging to the group of aminoglycosides, and silica and lactose as auxiliary substances. The drug has a bactericidal effect mainly on gram-negative and some gram-positive microorganisms, is not active against anaerobes. When administered orally, apramycin is poorly absorbed and creates high antibacterial concentrations in the gastrointestinal tract. The drug is administered to the animals inside with water or milk replacer once a day for 5-7 days in doses of 40-80 mg / kg body weight. The drug is mixed with half the daily amount of liquid that animals can drink. After the introduction of the drug, the animals have free access to water. [Instructions for use Agropet water soluble powder for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases of bacterial etiology in calves, piglets, lambs and chickens. https://galen.vetrf.ru].
The disadvantage of this method of treatment is that the drug may have nephrotoxic and ototoxic effects. In addition, apramycin sulfate is practically not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, and therefore cannot provide high efficiency in the generalized form of pathology.
Для лечения и профилактики препарат выпаивают телятам одни раз в сутки в течение 3-5 дней в дозе 0,25-0,5 мл на 10 кг массы животного [Инструкция по применению Энрофлоксацина для лечения сельскохозяйственных животных и птицы при болезнях бактериальной этиологии: https://galen.vetrf.ru].There is a method of treating calf salmonellosis, in which Enrofloxacin is used as a medicinal product for oral administration, 1 ml of which contains 100 mg of enrofloxacin as an active ingredient, as well as auxiliary components - potassium hydroxide, polysorbate 80, purified water. For treatment and prevention, the drug is fed to calves once a day for 3-5 days at a dose of 0.25-0.5 ml per 10 kg of animal weight [Instructions for use of Enrofloxacin for treating farm animals and poultry for diseases of bacterial etiology: https: //galen.vetrf.ru].
The disadvantage of this method of treatment is that the drug contains only one antibacterial agent - enrofloxacin, and therefore, the drug can not provide a high therapeutic effect. In addition, during the period of treatment, animals should be kept in direct sunlight for a long time.
Ципровентор применяют перорально с водой для поения в течение 5 дней в суточной дозе 0,6 г/10 кг массы тела [Инструкция по применению Ципровентора для лечения поросят, телят, жеребят, ягнят и сельскохозяйственных птиц при болезнях бактериальной этиологии: https://galen.vetrf.ru].There is a method of treating calf salmonellosis, in which Ciproventor is used as a medicinal product for oral administration, which in 1 g contains ciprofloxacin 100 mg as active ingredient and 500 mg of apramycin sulfate, and lactose as an auxiliary substance. Ciproventor is a complex antibacterial drug. Ciprofloxacin, which is part of the drug, belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones and has a broad spectrum of antibacterial and antimycoplasma action. Apramycin has a bactericidal effect mainly against gram-negative, as well as some gram-positive bacteria. Not active against anaerobic microorganisms. Ziproventor is used orally with water for drinking for 5 days at a daily dose of 0.6 g / 10 kg body weight [Instructions for use of the Tsiproventor for treating piglets, calves, foals, lambs and farm birds for diseases of bacterial etiology: https: // galen .vetrf.ru].
The disadvantage of this method of treatment is that the drug contains apramycin sulfate, which is practically not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and therefore cannot provide high efficiency in the generalized form of pathology.
Перед применением флакон с препаратом необходимо подогреть на водяной бане до 37-38°С [Инструкция по применению Диоксинора для лечения желудочно-кишечных и респираторных болезней бактериальной этиологии у поросят и телят: https://galen.vetrf.ru].The closest solution adopted for the prototype, is the use of Dioxinor, which is a solution for injection. Dioxinor in 1 ml as the active ingredients contains normofloxacin hydrochloride - 50 mg and dioxidine (hydroxymethylquinoxalinedioxide) - 10 mg, as well as auxiliary substances: low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone - 2 mg, 1.2 propylene glycol - 198 mg, Trilon B - 1 mg, hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment to 4.5-5.5) and water for injection - up to 1.0 ml. Dioxinor calves are injected subcutaneously daily twice a day at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg body weight for 3-5 days. Before using the bottle with the drug must be heated in a water bath to 37-38 ° C [Instructions for use of Dioxinor for the treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases of bacterial etiology in pigs and calves: https://galen.vetrf.ru].
The disadvantage of this method of treatment is that the drug is administered parenterally, which, due to the large volume of administration, is accompanied by a painful reaction (more than 5 ml should not be injected into one place).
The technical result of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of calves with salmonella.
To achieve a technical result, in the method of treating calf patients with salmonellosis, including oral administration of the diastopic drug at a dose of 10 ml / kg of body weight twice a day for 3 days, according to the invention, the drug biferon-B is also administered intramuscularly at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg body weight once a day for 3 days.
Thus, a method of treating salmonellosis of calves is used, in which a complex antimicrobial preparation is used, which includes antimicrobial components (norfloxacin hydrochloride and dioxidine) as active substances and drugs that provide a detoxification and rehydrating effect, as well as an immunostimulant.
The preparation Norfloxacin - 1-ethyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-7- (1-piperazinyl) -3-quinolinecarboxylic acid - hydrochloride, a compound of the fluoroquinolone group, has a wide spectrum of antibacterial action on gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including Escherichia coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Clostridium, Bordetella, Campylobacter, Corinebacterium, Pseudomonas, Proteus, Mycobacterium spp., including fragments, framers, pseudomonas, Proteus, Mycobacterium spp. The mechanism of action of norfloxacin is to inhibit the activity of DNA gyrase (type II and IV topoisomerase), which leads to irreversible changes and death of the microbial cell.
