Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture and can be used to optimize the reproductive functions of cows in the conditions of the Magadan region.
[1].To obtain maximum milk production, it is necessary to constantly maintain a high level of herd reproduction, to ensure timely fruitful insemination of cows for annual offspring from them. The economy of dairy farming, the level of breeding, the duration and intensity of use of animals depends on the state of reproduction. Up to 8-10% of the possible annual milk yield is lost from barren cows on farms; a significant number of cows are culled before the funds for their rearing are paid off. Unjustifiably spent funds for the maintenance and feeding of infertile cows, their treatment and multiple insemination, which significantly increases the cost of production [1].
Особого внимания заслуживает вопрос практического использования ферментативных свойств лишайников (лишайниковых кислот) как способа повышения общей резистентности и продуктивности крупного рогатого скота (КРС).Of particular note is the practical use of the enzymatic properties of lichens (lichen acids) as a way to increase the overall resistance and productivity of cattle (cattle).
Sodium salt of usnic acid is the first domestic antibiotic obtained from lichens. Its bacteriostatic effect is manifested in relation to Staphylococcus aureus, streptococci, anaerobes, pneumococci and tubercle bacillus [2]. Sodium salt of usnic acid was tested at the Leningrad Veterinary Institute. The drug was successfully used in the treatment of acute and chronic endometritis, with parenchymal mastitis of the udder in cows [2]. Numerous observations show that antibiotics are effective as a powerful factor stimulating the growth and development of young animals [3, 4]. Lichens, as producers of sodium salt and usnic acid, are a rich source of vitamin B 12 . In addition to the fact that vitamin B 12 itself is necessary for the animal’s body, it was found that it increases the level of secretion of gastric juice and significantly increases the digesting power of pepsin, which is one of the factors explaining the stimulating properties of antibiotics.
Another important point explaining the stimulating effect of antibiotics is an increase in water metabolism. Animals that include antibiotics in their diet consume more water than animals in the control groups. High water consumption is due to increased protein hydration by the intestinal walls. This makes it possible for more intensive absorption of organic and mineral substances from the digestive tract, which in turn leads to improved growth of the animal.
(0,5%) [5].A characteristic distinguishing feature of lichens is the high content of special carbohydrates in them, which are almost never found in other representatives of the plant world. This is, first of all, lichenin, the so-called lichen starch. A.L. Kursanov and N.N. Dyachkov (1945) found that lichen carbohydrates, which make up about 80% or more of their dry weight, easily turn into simple sugars when heated with diluted mineral acids: glucose (97%), galactose (2.5%) and mannose (0 , 5%) [5].
[6].As a part of alpine cladonia, E.P. Shanker (1937) discovered ascorbic acid, as well as vitamins A, C, D, B 1 , B 2 , B 12 , etc. [6].

The disadvantage of a feed additive is the high cost of its components for use by small agricultural enterprises.
The closest known feed additives (CD) based on spawning salted fish used to increase the resistance of animals were not found by us in a patent search.
The task at hand is to increase the reproductive functions and productivity of cattle. The objective is achieved by including dairy cows of lichens and spawned salted pink salmon in the main diet as a feed additive (CD), which enriches the diet with protein, enzymes, and vitamins based on the local raw material base.
Example: In order to study the influence of CD on the physiological state of cows, four months after calving, a scientific and economic experiment was conducted at the UMIC “New Armand” (Magadan). The experiment was carried out in the stall period. For experimental studies, 20 cows of Ayrshire breed were selected, divided according to the principle of analogues into two equal groups. When selecting groups, breed, age and calving were taken into account. The main diet consisted of hay of wild plants, oat-pea silage and mixed feed.
Lichens were added to the main diet of the cows of the experimental group daily for the first 60 days - 75 g per head per day. For the next 60 days, cows received salted pink salmon daily - 1 kg per head per day.
To prepare CD in August, lichens were collected on the Okhotsk coast (Olsky estuary). Lichens were dried in a specially equipped storage room on wire racks and crushed. The CD was stored in kraft bags in the warehouse type premises. In the experiment we used waste from fishing activities that remain unclaimed and must be disposed of in the coastal part of the sea, which requires extra labor and money costs. When selecting eggs for laying at the hatchery, spawned pink salmon was collected. Pink salmon were washed, cut into pieces and salted in barrels. Salt was added in an amount of 10% by weight of the fish. The fish was kept in a cold warehouse.
1).The production experience showed that the use of CD allows you to optimize the reproductive functions of cows. So, in the cows receiving the supplement, the service period was within normal limits and shorter by 19.5% than in the cows of the control group. In the cows of the experimental group, the insemination index (the ratio of the number of spent inseminations to the number of fertilized cows) was less by 0.6, and the fertility rate from the first insemination was 20% higher than in the cows of the control group (Table 1).
Все вышеперечисленные статистические показатели достоверны с вероятностью Р>0,95.The variability coefficients of the service period and the insemination index are lower for the cows of the experimental group, which indicates their greater uniformity in these indicators. All of the above statistical indicators are reliable with a probability of P> 0.95.
Thus, cows that receive CD in addition to the main diet have increased reproductive ability compared to similar animals that do not receive it, which makes it possible to more successfully use the former in the process of herd reproduction.
The use of lichens made it possible to raise the milk yield relative to the control group by 29.06%, and the use of fish - by 4.02%. The fat content of milk in cows treated with lichens increased by 0.18 abs. % When taking fish, the milk fat content rose by 0.54 abs. % This avoided the seasonal decline in milk production characteristic of the stall period.
38,17%.An increase in milk yield by 29.06% and a milk fat content of 0.18% as a result of the inclusion of a feed supplement from lichens in the diet gave an increase in profitability by 38.17%.
51,8%.An increase in milk yield by 4.02% and a milk fat content of 0.54% as a result of the inclusion of a feed additive from fish in the diet increased the profitability level by 51.8%.
The introduction of CD into the diet of cows optimized the biochemical and hematological parameters of blood, which is confirmed by the research results. The use of CD positively affects milk productivity, which is reflected in a decrease in the protein content in the blood serum of cows by 4.9%, remaining within the normal range. The use of lichens increases the content of α-globulins by 30.45%, optimizes the content of β-globulins. The use of fish increases the content of albumin by 11.27% during the period of increased milk productivity (the fourth month after calving). The described changes in the content of total protein and its fractions in the blood create optimal conditions in the postpartum period for subsequent insemination. Acceptance of CD affects a slight increase in carotene content (by 1.56%). The data of hematological studies show that according to the studied indicators, the condition of the cows in the experimental groups in comparison with the cows of the control group improved. The increased content of red blood cells (an increase of 48.91%) and hemoglobin (an increase of 29.55%) in the blood of animals taking CD indicates a more intense metabolism in their body, a better ability to absorb oxygen during breathing, supplying them with tissues and organs organism, boosting the immune system. The use of lichens inhibits leukocytosis and has a beneficial effect on the animal organism. A higher neutrophil content indicates an increase in the protective functions of animals, as this group of cells is phagocytes. In addition, neutrophils produce enzymes that activate the bactericidal action. During the experiment in the blood of animals of the group that received lichens, there is an increase in stab neutrophils by 80%, and after two months of taking fish, the increase in stab neutrophils was 44.44%. The number of monocytes indicates an increase in the protective functions of the animal organism, since this group of cells is phagocytes and has a high activity. By the end of the experiment, the level of monocytes increased significantly in the experimental groups.
CD based on lichens and spawning pink salmon replenishes the diet of cattle with protein, enzymes, vitamins and has a positive effect on the blood counts of cows, improves the immunity of animals and ensures timely fruitful insemination, which ultimately affects the increase in the productivity of dairy cows.
The data obtained can be used to optimize the reproductive functions of dairy herds of cattle in the conditions of the Magadan region.
