The closest in technical essence to the proposed device is a device for collecting berries, containing a body with a handle, a hopper, a removable working body with an element picking up the berry, and the removable working body is made in the form of a frame with an additional handle and hinged on the frame with spring-loaded L-shaped arches, and the picking berry is made in the form of a comb (RU 2042313, IPC А01D 46/00 publ. 27.08.1995).

The disadvantages of the known device are the complexity of its design and limited use for collecting stem-like crops and herbaceous plants.

The main fundamental differences of the proposed device for manual collection of stalk-shaped agricultural grains from existing analogues are:

- the lower part of the device is made in the form of a rigid frame, the front working part of which is made in the form of rounded teeth,

- the upper part of the working body of the device is made in the form of a pressure plate parallel to the teeth with a rounded blade,

- the upper working part of the device is located on a two-armed lever and is hinged to the frame.

This design of the device is easy to manufacture and allows in the field to extract grains of stem-like crops and herbaceous seeds from ears and panicles.

The technical result of the utility model is to simplify the design of a device for mechanizing the manual collection of grains of stem-like crops and herbaceous seeds from ears and panicles.
