Нетканая воздухопроницаемая ткань, содержащая поливиниловый спирт и имеющая по крайней мере один коалесцированный поверхностный слой, содержащий низкопористый поливиниловый спирт, и слой, состоящий по существу из волокнистого поливинилового спирта, причем указанный коалесцированный слой более восприимчив к теплопередаче, чем указанный волокнистый слой.
2. Ткань по п.1, содержащая переходный слой из волокнистого поливинилового спирта и коалесцированного низкопористого поливинилового спирта, скрепляющий указанный поверхностный слой с волокнистым поливинилспиртовым слоем.
3. Ткань по п.1, в которой к упомянутому волокнистому поливинилспиртовому слою присоединен другой слой из термопластичного полимера.
4. Ткань по п.1, в которой указанный по крайней мере один поверхностный слой содержит водоотталкивающий состав.
5. Ткань по п.1, в которой упомянутый поверхностный слой является в по существу непористым.
6. Ткань по п.1, образующая одежду, где ткань содержит пластификатор.
7. Ткань по п.1, образующая одежду, в том числе медицинскую одежду.
8. Ткань по п.1, образующая одежду, в которой упомянутый поливиниловый спирт является гидросплетенным.
9. Нетканая воздухопроницаемая пленка, содержащая поливиниловый спирт и имеющая по крайней мере один коалесцированный поверхностный слой, содержащий низкопористый поливиниловый спирт, и слой, состоящий по существу из волокнистого поливинилового спирта, причем указанный коалесцированный слой более восприимчив к теплопередаче, чем указанный волокнистый слой.
10. Пленка по п.9, содержащая переходный слой из волокнистого поливинилового спирта и коалесцированного низкопористого поливинилового спирта, скрепляющий указанный поверхностный слой с волокнистым поливинилспиртовым слоем.
11. Пленка по п.9, в которой к упомянутому волокнистому поливинилспиртовому слою присоединен другой слой из термопластичного полимера.
12. Пленка по п.9, в которой указанный по крайней мере один поверхностный слой содержит водоотталкивающий состав.
13. Пленка по п.9, в которой упомянутый поверхностный слой является по существу непористым.
14. Пленка по п.9, которая служит оберточным материалом для инертных изделий.
15. Способ селективной модификации поверхности поливинилспиртовой пленки или ткани путем избирательного коалесцирования по крайней мере одной поверхности данного поливинилового спирта с помощью тепла и воды с образованием низкопористого поверхностного слоя, прикрепленного к слою немодифицированного поливинилового спирта, причем данная пленка или ткань растворимы при повышенных температурах.
16. Способ по п.15, в котором упомянутая вода получена из воды, удерживаемой поливинилспиртовой пленкой или тканью.
17. Способ по п.15, в котором упомянутые тепло и вода включают пар.
18. Способ по п.15, в котором упомянутая модифицированная поверхность обрабатывается агентом, выбранным из группы, состоящей из пигмента, огнезащитного средства, водоотталкивающего средства и полимера.
19. Способ по п.15, в котором обе поверхности поливинилового спирта модифицированы путем обработки паром.
