Abstract
1. Устройство хранения данных, содержащее: ! пластиковую подложку, имеющую множество объемов, расположенных вдоль дорожек во множестве вертикально упакованных, латерально простирающихся слоев; и множество микроголограмм, каждая из которых содержится в соответствующем одном из упомянутых объемов; ! при этом наличие или отсутствие микроголограммы в каждом из упомянутых объемов характеризует соответствующий участок хранимых данных. ! 2. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка представляет собой диск диаметром приблизительно 120 мм. ! 3. Устройство по п.1, в котором подложка содержит термопласт. ! 4. Устройство по п.3, в котором термопласт имеет нелинейную функциональную характеристику. ! 5. Устройство по п.4, в котором нелинейная функциональная характеристика является пороговой функциональной характеристикой. ! 6. Устройство по п.3, в котором подложка дополнительно содержит тепловой катализатор. ! 7. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит краситель. ! 8. Устройство по п.7, в котором упомянутый краситель представляет собой краситель - обратно насыщающийся поглотитель. ! 9. Устройство по п.1, в котором подложка содержит блок-сополимер оксида полиэтилена/полистирола. ! 10. Claims (39)
1. Устройство хранения данных, содержащее:
пластиковую подложку, имеющую множество объемов, расположенных вдоль дорожек во множестве вертикально упакованных, латерально простирающихся слоев; и множество микроголограмм, каждая из которых содержится в соответствующем одном из упомянутых объемов;
при этом наличие или отсутствие микроголограммы в каждом из упомянутых объемов характеризует соответствующий участок хранимых данных.
2. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка представляет собой диск диаметром приблизительно 120 мм.
3. Устройство по п.1, в котором подложка содержит термопласт.
4. Устройство по п.3, в котором термопласт имеет нелинейную функциональную характеристику.
5. Устройство по п.4, в котором нелинейная функциональная характеристика является пороговой функциональной характеристикой.
6. Устройство по п.3, в котором подложка дополнительно содержит тепловой катализатор.
7. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит краситель.
8. Устройство по п.7, в котором упомянутый краситель представляет собой краситель - обратно насыщающийся поглотитель.
9. Устройство по п.1, в котором подложка содержит блок-сополимер оксида полиэтилена/полистирола.
10. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит блок-сополимер оксида поликарбоната/полиэстера.
11. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит орто-нитростильбен, включающий полимер.
12. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит орто-нитростильбен и полиметилметакрилат.
13. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка содержит поликарбонат.
14. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутые микроголограммы являются, по существу, круглыми.
15. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутые микроголограммы являются продолговатыми.
16. Устройство по п.1, в котором упомянутая подложка представляет собой диск, имеющий центр, причем, по меньшей мере, один из упомянутых слоев вьется спиралеобразно к упомянутому центру диска, и, по меньшей мере, другой из упомянутых слоев вьется спиралеобразно от упомянутого центра диска.
17. Устройство по п.1, в котором каждый из упомянутых слоев имеет начальные и конечные точки, и, по меньшей мере, одна из упомянутых начальных точек является, по существу, вертикально центрированной с, по меньшей мере, одной из упомянутых конечных точек.
18. Устройство по п.1, дополнительно содержащее второе множество микроголограмм в упомянутой подложке, которое характеризует информацию трекинга.
19. Устройство по п.18, в котором каждые из упомянутых характеристических данных и второе множество микроголограмм имеет ось, и ось упомянутых микроголограмм характеристических данных является отличной от оси упомянутого второго множества микроголограмм.
20. Устройство по п.19, в котором угол, ассоциированный с осью заданной одной из упомянутых второго множества микроголограмм характеризует ее положение в подложке.
21. Способ хранения данных, содержащий этапы, на которых:
обеспечивают пластиковой подложки, имеющей множество объемов, расположенных вдоль дорожек во множестве вертикально упакованных, латерально простирающихся слоев; и
формируют множества микроголограмм в упомянутой подложке;
при этом каждая из упомянутых микроголограмм, по существу, содержится в соответствующем одном из упомянутых объемов, и наличие или отсутствие микроголограммы в каждом из упомянутых объемов характеризует соответствующий участок хранимых данных.
22. Способ по п.21, в котором упомянутые микроголограммы селективно формируются в зависимости от данных.
23. Способ по п.21, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором селективно стирают единиц микроголограмм в зависимости от данных.
24. Способ по п.21, в котором упомянутое формирование содержит интерференцию двух встречных световых лучей.
25. Способ по п.24, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором фокусируют один из упомянутых световых лучей.
26. Способ по п.25, в котором один из упомянутых лучей является расходящимся.
27. Способ по п.25, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором отражают один из упомянутых световых лучей для обеспечения другого из упомянутых световых лучей.
28. Способ по п.24, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором селективно матируют, по меньшей мере, один из световых лучей в зависимости от данных.
29. Способ по п.21, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором формируют второе множество голограмм, имеющих направление отражения, отличное от направления упомянутого множества голограмм.
30. Способ по п.29, в котором упомянутое второе множество голограмм задает упомянутые дорожки.
31. Способ по п.21, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором формируют второе множество микроголограмм на заданном разнесении, в котором разнесение характеризует положение внутри их подложки.
32. Способ по п.21, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором формируют второе множество микроголограмм, в котором, по меньшей мере, одна из упомянутого множества микроголограмм расположена в общем одном из объемов совместно с, по меньшей мере, одной из множества микроголограмм.
33. Способ по п.21, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором заливающе освещают упомянутые микроголограммы через вторую пластиковую подложку.
34. Способ по п.33, в котором упомянутое освещение индуцирует картину изменений показателя преломления в упомянутой второй пластиковой подложке.
35. Способ по п.34, дополнительно содержащий этап, на котором заливающе освещают упомянутую вторую пластиковую подложку через упомянутую третью пластиковую подложку.
36. Способ по п.35, в котором упомянутое освещение упомянутой второй пластиковой подложки через упомянутую третью пластиковую подложку дублирует упомянутое множество микроголограмм в упомянутой третьей пластиковой подложке.
37. Способ по п.36, в котором упомянутое заливающее освещение использует лазерные лучи.
38. Способ по п.37, в котором упомянутые лазерные лучи имеют центральную длину волны, соответствующую упомянутым микроголограммам.
39. Способ по п.38, в котором упомянутая центральная длина волны составляет приблизительно 532 нм.
