Abstract
Inventia se refera la fibra polipropilenica cu inflamabilitate redusa, care este obtinuta din polipropilena ignifugata prin aditivare cu agenti de ignifugare în polipropilena în stare topita. Polipropilena ignifugata pentru fibre continedrept agenti de ignifugare compusi organo-fosforici, compusi organo-fosforici halogenati; metifofonat de dimetil (MFDM) în concentratie de 1,0...6,0% si/sau tri-(-2cloretil) fosfat (TREF) în concentratie de 1,0...7,0% fata de polimer, în prezenta a 0,2...1,0% trioxid de stibiu (Sb2O3). Fibrele obtinute se caracterizeaza printr-o finete cuprinsa între 3,0 si 20,0 dtex, densitate de lungime, având proprietati fizico-mecanice corespunzatoare si un indice limita de oxigen LOI de minimum 21,0%, superior fibrelor neignifugate având LOI=17,0...17,4%. Conform inventiei, se obtin fibre cu proprietati îmbunatatite din punctul de vedere al comportarii la ardere, se extinde gama sortimentala a fibrelor polipropilenice, filarea realizându-se pe instalatii uzuale de filare a polipropilenei.
