Procedeul de izomerizare a glucozei, cuprinde obtinerea glucozizomerazei prin cultivarea timp de 36...96h a microorganismului Streptomyces species nr. 1339 înregistrat în colectia Institutului pentru controlul medicamentului Bulgaria sub nr. 144, într-un mediu de cultura la o temperatura de 24...36 degree C si la un pH initial de 6,5...9,0 dupa care se face izomerizarea glucozei la fructoza la o temperatura de 50...90 degree C, la un pH=6,0...9, în prezenta de CoCl2 x 6H2O într-o concentratie de 5 x 10 la -5 -1 x 10 la -3M si MgSo4 x 7H2O într-o concentratie de 1 x 10 la -4...1 x 10 la -1M, glocoza fiind prezentata într-o concentratie de 0,1 pîna la 3M, în prezenta glocozizomerazei din faza anterioara, iar mediul de cultura pentru cultivarea microorganismului Streptomyces sp 1339 producator de izomeraza contine 1,0... 2,0% xiloza, 1,5...4% extract de porumb, 0,05...0,2% MgSO4 x 7H2O, 0,005...0,001 KCl si 0,012...0,36% CoCl2 x 6H2O.
