Claims (5)
- REIVINDICAÇÕES1. - Válvula electromagnética para controlar o escoamento de um metal ou de uma liga metálica em fase líquida numa canalização em carga (13,15), compreendendo a referida válvula um corpo tubular (1) de um material permeável ao campo magnético, e um enrolamento indutor polifásico (2) disposto em tomo do referido corpo tubular para criar um campo magnético deslizante ao longo do eixo longitudinal do mesmo corpo tubular, caracterizada por compreender um núcleo (5) que é mantido e se estende axialmente no interior do corpo tubular (1), criando o referido núcleo (5) entre si e a parede interior do corpo tubular uma passagem sensivelmente anular para o metal ou para a liga metálica líquidos cujo escoamento deve ser controlado.
- 2. - Válvula electromagnética de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizada por o referido núcleo (5) ser constituído por uma barra magnética (7) mergulhada numa massa (8) de material permeável ao campo magnético, estando o referido núcleo (5) ligado ao corpo tubular (1) da referida válvula por braços radiais (6) elaborados a partir do referido material.
- 3. - Válvula electromagnética de acordo com uma qualquer das reivindicações 1 ou 2, caracterizada por o corpo tubular (1) da válvula, ou a canalização (13,15) ã qual está ligada a referida válvula, estar vantajosamente provido de um injector (16) que permite uma injecção controlada de um gás neutro ou inerte que impede uma oxidação do metal ou da liga metálica retidos na referida válvula.
- 4. - Válvula electromagnética de acordo com uma qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 3, caracterizada por compreender dois enrolamentos indutores polifásicos (2,9) justapostos em tomo do corpo tubular (1) da válvula.
- 5. - Válvula electromagnética de acordo com a reivindicação 4, caracterizada por os enrolamentos indutores polifásicos (2,9) estarem ligados a fontes de corrente (3,11) reguláveis distintas,
