ID). The reclining armchair with a sleeping function is part of the group of upholstered lounge furniture and is designed for relaxing either by sitting or lying down. The essence of the industrial design is the new spatial shaping of the individual elements constituting the armchair, manifested in their shape, line layout, colors, finish, and structural solution, aimed at achieving aesthetic goals. The subject of the industrial design is illustrated in the drawings and photographs attached to the application, showing the reclining armchair with a sleeping function in a front view (fig. 1); a side view (fig. 2); a back view (fig. 4); in the front view in the unfolded position Fig. 3 and in the side view in cross-section Fig. 5. The extendable seat Fig. IB in the front view has the shape of two horizontally stacked cuboids Fig. Ia and Fig. Ib, with a rectangular cross-section supported on an extendable frame made of wood and board elements. The extendable seat of the armchair Fig. 5B is a multi-segment element and comprises: a fixed seat cushion Fig. 5b permanently connected to the rectangular front Fig. 5c; an extendable seat cushion Fig. 5a connected by fabric to the fixed seat cushion Fig. 5b; and the armchair headrest Fig. 5d connected by means of metal hinges with rollers Fig. 5e to the bedding box Fig. 5f constituting the base of the seat. Details of all the above-mentioned elements are shown in the cross-sectional drawing of the reclining chair, Fig. 5. The fixed seat cushion, Fig. 3g, is an element made of polyurethane foam in the shape of a horizontally oriented cuboid, covered with upholstery material, permanently attached to the rectangular chair front, Fig. 3h, made of chipboard covered with wadding and upholstered with upholstery material. The fixed seat cushion, Fig. 3g and Fig. 5b, and the chair front, Fig. 3h and Fig. 5c, are attached to a wooden frame with spring slats, Fig. 5i. The entire assembly is mounted on a roller, Fig. 5j, allowing the wheelchair to be extended and retracted with the fixed seat cushion. The reclining seat cushion, Fig. 3k, has the same shape and filling as the fixed seat cushion, Fig. 3g. It is connected to the fixed seat cushion by a fabric strip at its long edge, allowing it to be placed in two positions. When the armchair is folded, it rests on the fixed seat cushion (Fig. 3g), while when the armchair is unfolded, it rests on the bedding box (Fig. 31). The bedding box (Fig. 31) consists of chipboard for the sides and fiberboard for the bottom. The entire structure is covered by a wooden frame that opens on metal hinges. The frame is made of wood and spring slats and forms the base for the fold-out seat cushion. The bedding box, as the name suggests, serves as a bedding container and, when the armchair is unfolded and the fold-out seat cushion (Fig. 3k) is placed on it, increases the sleeping surface. The backrest of the armchair (Fig. 1A), similar to the seat, has a cuboid shape with a rectangular cross-section. In the front view, the backrest (Fig. 1A) rests at its lower end on the extendable seat (Fig. 1B) and at its lateral edges on the armchair sides (Fig. 1C). The backrest is a fixed element of the armchair and is supported by a structure of wood and particleboard. The wooden frame with the attached particleboard is upholstered with resilient rubber strips, which are covered with flexible polyurethane foam, upholstery wadding, and an outer covering of textile upholstery. The entire structure forms the backrest of the armchair, permanently attached to the armchair structure. The backrest is positioned at an angle relative to the seat (Fig. 5l). The armchair's sides, fig. 1C, are two cuboid-shaped elements with a rectangular cross-section, positioned to the right and left of the extendable seat, fig. IB, and the armchair's backrest, fig. IA. These elements are constructed on a wooden frame combined with panel elements covered with flexible polyurethane foam and upholstery fabric. The entire structure is upholstered in textile upholstery. The structure of the reclining armchair with a sleeping function is based on fixed feet, fig. 5m, and rollers enabling the trolley to be extended along with the seat, fig. 5n. All of the above-mentioned elements of the reclining armchair with a sleeping function, described in the description and shown in the illustrations, i.e., the extendable seat, fig. IB, the backrest, fig. IA, and the armchair's sides, fig. IC, are of crucial importance to the creator of the design and to its registration. Essential Features of an Industrial DesignEssential features of an industrial design: a reclining armchair with a sleeping function, upholstered in textile material, are all the components of the armchair described and shown in the illustrations, i.e., their shape, position relative to each other, and the function described in the design description. The extendable seat, fig. IB, in a front view, has the shape of two horizontally stacked cuboids, fig. Ia and fig. Ib, with a rectangular cross-section, supported on an extendable frame of wood and board elements; it is a multi-part element and comprises: a fixed seat cushion, fig. 5b, permanently connected to a rectangular front, fig. 5c; an extendable seat cushion, fig. 5a, connected by fabric to the fixed seat cushion, fig. 5b; and a headrest, fig. 5d, connected by metal hinges with rollers, fig. 5e, to a bedding box, fig. 5f, constituting the base of the seat. The fixed seat cushion, Fig. 3g, is a polyurethane foam element in the shape of a horizontal cuboid, covered with upholstery fabric, permanently attached to the rectangular armchair front, Fig. 3h, made of chipboard covered with wadding and upholstered with upholstery fabric.
