According to the industrial design, the sofa is part of a group of upholstered lounge furniture and is intended for relaxation in a sitting, lying, or sleeping position. The essence of the industrial design is the new spatial arrangement of the individual elements comprising the sofa, manifested in their shape, line layout, colors, finish, and structural solution, all aimed at achieving aesthetic goals. The industrial design is illustrated in the drawings and photographs attached to the application. Drawing fig.1 shows the sofa in a front view; fig.2 shows the sofa in a side view; fig.3 shows the sofa in a back view. Photograph fig.1 shows the sofa in a front view; fig.2 in a side view; fig.3 in a back view; fig.4 in a side view in the unfolded position. The extendable seat fig.fig.1A or fig.fig.3A has the shape of a horizontally arranged cuboid with arched side edges and is arranged perpendicularly in relation to the extendable backrest fig.fig.3B. The extendable seat has a structure based on a wooden frame with elements of chipboard and MDF board covered in the upper part with flexible polyurethane foam, felt and a Bonell spring unit covered on the outside with textile upholstery material. A chrome leg (Fig. 1H) is attached to the front of the extendable seat base, which serves both as a structural reinforcement and a decorative element. The extendable backrest (Fig. 3B) is also cuboid-shaped, but unlike the seat, which is vertically arranged on a narrower plane and perpendicular to the extendable seat (Fig. 3A). Its construction is based on a wooden frame with chipboard and MDF elements, covered in the upper section with flexible polyurethane foam, felt, and a Bonnell spring unit, covered on the outside with textile material. The extendable backrest (Fig. 3B) is attached to the sofa box (Fig. 3C) and can be extended. When unfolded, the backrest rests sideways on the seat, creating a large, uniform sleeping surface, as shown in photo 4. The sofa box (Fig. 1C or Fig. 3C) is rectangular and located beneath the extendable seat. The frame-and-panel structure, made of wood and panel elements, is covered with textile upholstery on the outside and with textile lining on the inside. The box rests on four chrome-plated metal feet mounted in its corners (Fig. 1G and Fig. 3G). In addition to serving as the base of the sofa and its seat, the box also serves as a bedding container. It also provides a base for the extendable seat (Fig. 3A) and supports the extendable backrest (Fig. 3B). The backrest cushion (Fig. lD) is an element placed on the extendable seat and resting against the surface of the folding backrest. In the front view (Fig. lL), the backrest cushions abut each other at their shorter side edges, and their other shorter edges are arc-cut in the shape of the armrest cushions (Fig. lK) lying on the seat. The backrest cushions (Fig. lD) are filled with shredded flexible polyurethane foam and silicone beads, covered with a textile upholstery on the outside. The armrest cushion (Fig. lE) is a two-part element consisting of the cushion (Fig. lE) and the armrest cover (Fig. lF). The elements are connected with Velcro and rest freely on the surface of the extendable seat. The armrest cushion (fig. lE) is made of a textile material sewn into the shape of a prism with an elliptical cross-section, filled with a mixture of flexible, torn polyurethane foam and silicone beads. The armrest cushion cover (fig. lF) is made of several layers of upholstery wadding covered with textile upholstery material. The armrest cushion and cover serve two functions: first, as an armrest when the sofa is folded, and second, as a headrest when the sofa is unfolded. Essential features of an industrial design.
