Nowa powloke sta¬ nowi podtlenek olowiu albo mieszanina Pb20 z innemi polaczeniami metali, miano¬ wicie tlenkami, albo metalicznemi koloida¬ mi i wysychajacym srodkiem wiazacym np. olejem lnianym lub t. p, srodkiem. Lniany olej dziala, odtleniajaco na podtlenek olo¬ wiu i pozostawia po wyschnieciu oleju na powietrzu metaliczna powloke, która ochra¬ nia kazde podloze i szczególnie do niego silnie przylega. Dobre dzialanie powloki prawie sie nie zmniejsza, jezeli zawiera ona inne tlenki olowiu i zanieczyszczenia. PL
