Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób krochmalenia i wykonczania juty, który po¬ lega na tern, ze stosuje sie mieszanine skla¬ dajaca sie z kalafonji, zmydlonej w przy¬ blizeniu do polowy, soli alkalicznych, za¬ wierajacych wode krystaliczna, i amo- njaku. I Przyklad. Na 100 1, wody stosuje sie 35 kg kalafonji zmydlonej 3 kg sody zra¬ cej (70—80%), 20 kg utrwalajacego tlenku sodowego krystalicznego i 5 kg amonjaku (0,91).Do tej mieszaniny mozna dodac sól glauberowska, chlorek amonu, octan sodu, sól kuchenna i podobne materjaly.Tkanine jutowa nakrapia sie powyzszym srodkiem, pozostawia sie okolo 24 godzin w spokoju, poczem wygladza sie ja na pra¬ sownicy, utrzymujac walec cylindryczny tego urzadzenia w stanie goracym.
