Przedmiotem wzoru przemyslowego jest nowa i oryginalna oslonka doniczki. Oslonka moze byc wykonane z dowolnego materialu. Istote wzoru stanowi nowa postac przedmiotu przejawiajaca sie w uksztaltowaniu, ukladzie linii, rysunków, barw, wlasciwosciach i zdobieniu powierzchni, ornamentacji oraz wzajemnym usytuowaniu poszczególnych elementów tworzacych wzór. Przedmiot wzoru przedstawiono na zalaczonym rysunku fig. 1 - 7, na których pokazano przedmiot wzoru w poszczególnych odmianach, o identycznym ksztalcie, ale z róznymi zdobieniami.
