Abstract
This garbage supply speed estimation device estimates a transition in a garbage supply speed which is the weight of garbage supplied by a rubbish supply device into an incinerator per unit of time in an incineration facility in which garbage thrown into a hopper is sequentially supplied by the rubbish supply device into the incinerator. The garbage supply speed estimation device is provided with: a base component derivation unit which derives, as a base component of the garbage supply speed, a transition in the weight of the garbage thrown into the hopper; a variable component derivation unit which estimates, from a change in the height of the surface of the garbage in the hopper, a transition in the weight of the garbage supplied by the rubbish supply device into the incinerator, and derives, as a variable component of the garbage supply speed based on the base component, a variation in the estimated transition in the weight of the garbage supplied; and a supply speed estimation unit which estimates a transition in the garbage supply speed by superimposing the variable component on the base component.
