Abstract

Se da a conocer un metodo de recuperacion de un metal, tal como cobre o niquel o cinc o cobalto, a partir de un material que contiene sulfuro de metal en un material extraido por mineria a partir del cual "no resulta economico" recuperar metales usando opciones de recuperacion convencionales antes de realizarse la invencion. El metodo incluye mezclar (i) el material que contiene sulfuro de metal y (ii) pirita y formar aglomerados, lixiviar aglomerados con un licor de lixiviacion y microbios y retirar un metal a partir del material que contiene sulfuro de metal y formar un licor de lixiviacion cargado que contiene metal, y recuperar el metal a partir del licor de lixiviacion cargado. Tambien se da a conocer una operacion de lixiviacion en pilas para un material que contiene sulfuro de metal. Tambien se da a conocer un circuito de flotacion para una planta de procesamiento de mena para un material que contiene sulfuro de metal.
