Abstract
SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA LIXIVIAR UN CONCENTRADO DE CALCOPIRITA POR MEDIO DE UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA QUE CONTIENE ACIDO SULFURICO Y OXIGENO ALIMENTADO A PRESION ATMOSFERICA Y UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 75 °C Y EL PUNTO DE EBULLICION DE LA SOLUCION. LA LIXIVIACION SE REALIZA COMO UNA LIXIVIACION A CONTRACORRIENTE DE DOS ETAPAS, EN DONDE EL TAMANO DE PARTICULA DEL CONCENTRADO QUE SE VA A ALIMENTAR EN UNA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION DE ACIDO DEBIL ESTA EN EL ORDEN DE 80% DEBAJO DE 60-100 um; EL CONCENTRADO ES LIXIVIADO EN LA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION DE ACIDO DEBIL CON UNA SOLUCION DE LIXIVIACION QUE SALE DE LA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION DEL ACIDO FUERTE PARA FORMAR UNA SOLUCION DE SULFATO DE COBRE; UN RESIDUO DE LA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION DE ACIDO DEBIL SE ALIMENTA EN LA ETAPA DE LIXIVIACION DE ACIDO FUERTE, EN DONDE EL RESIDUO ES LIXIVIADO CON UN REFINADO CUYA CONCENTRACION DE ACIDO SE REGULA EN ALREDEDOR DE 20-90 g/L
