SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA LA PREPARACION DE 13-(N-BOC-BETA-ISOBUTILSERINIL)-14-BETA-HIDROXIBACATIN III-1,14-CARBONATO QUE COMPRENDE: A) ACETILACION DEL GRUPO 10-HIDROXI DE 14BETA-HIDROXI-10-DESACETILBACATINA III; B) REACCION CON BIS(TRICLOROMETIL)CARBONATO PARA OBTENER EL DERIVADO 1,14 CARBONATO; C) REACCION CON CLORURO DE TRICLOROACETICO Y DESPUES CON ACIDO (4S,5R)-N-BOC-2-(2,4-DIMETOXIFENIL)-4-ISOBUTIL-1-OXAZOLIDIN-5-CARBOXILO; D) LA ELIMINACION DEL GRUPO PROTECTOR TRICLOROACETILO CON ALCALI; E) LA ELIMIANCION DEL GRUPO PRTECTOR DIMETOXIBENCILIDENO.
