Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og apparat for fremstilling av sement- klinker, hvor sementklinkeren først brennes i en brennsone og deretter avkjøles i en kjølesone, hvor kjølingen foregår i det minste delvis ved tilførsel av brennstoff og damp, kjennetegnet ved at i en første kjølefase sammenblandes det tilførte brennstoff med sementklinkeren og pyrolyseres initialt og de resulterende pyrolyseprodukter underkastes en sterk endotermisk reaksjon med dampen, slik at sementklinkeren bråkjøles på en slik måte at minst 95% og foretrukket all fly- tende fase inneholdt deri omdannes til glass.
