Abstract
Fremgangsmåte og apparat for å regulere ladningen av et batteri slik at batteriladningen finner sted så raskt som mulig samtidig som overheting av eller skade på batteriet unngås. Denne fremgangsmåte går ut på å tilføre en ladepuls (C1) som gir en midlere ladestrøm, påtrykke en første depolariseringspuls (D1), vente en første hvileperiode (DW1), måle spenningen (V1) ved et forut bestemt tidspunkt under den første hvileperiode, tilføre en annen depolariseringspuls (D2), vente en annen hvileperiode (DW2), måle spenningen (V2) ved det forut bestemte tidspunkt under den andre hvileperioden, bestemme en forskjell mellom spenningen (V1) og spenningen (V2), samt å senke den midlere ladestrøm hvis forskjellen er større enn en forut bestemt verdi. Foreliggende oppfinnelse går også ut på å bestemme om. batteriet har for lite vann.
