Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en fremgangsmåte for sortering av batterier (10), idet batteriene blir selektert på basis av en målt elektrisk egenskap som er kjenne-tegnende for deres sammensetning. Den elektriske egenskap ved batteriet blir i henhold til oppfinnelsen bestemt ved å påtrykke batteriet (10) en varierende elektrisk spenning og å måle den resulterende strøm gjennom batteriet. Den varierende elektriske spenning vil fordelaktig kunne omfatte en første puls og en andre puls som har motsatt polaritet, og som begge kan genereres ved utladning av en kondensator (2) . Dessuten vil det kunne bestemmes en andre egenskap, for eksempel form eller farge på batteriet. Ved en slik fremgangsmåte vil man kunne oppnå en meget effektiv sort-ering mellom for eksempel nikkel-kadmium-, alkalin-, litium-, og andre batterier. Oppfinnelsen vedrører også en anordning (1) for å bestemme elektriske egenskaper ved batterier.
