Abstract

Det blir beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av uorganisk belagte pigmenter eller fyllstoffer, hvor en vandig suspensjon av det tilsvarende ubehandlede pigmentet eller fyllstoffet blir anbragt minst et sjikt av et oksyd, hydroksyd eller oksydhydrat av et eller flere metaller fra gruppen bestående av titan, aluminium, zirkonium, silisium, Cer og sink, utfelt ved tilsetting av de tilsvarende metallsaltoppløsningene, hvor de yt- terste sjiktene er et hydroksyd eller oksydhydrat av aluminium, den vandige suspen- sjonen blir innstilt omkring nøytral, det således behandlede pigmentet eller fyllstoffet blir skilt fra, det fraskilte pigmentet eller fyllstoffet vasket, eventuelt tørket og blir or- ganisk modifisert og så deagglomerisert, hvor det for fremstilling av det ytre sjiktet av aluminiumhydroksyd eller aluminiumoksydhydrat blir tilsatt en surt reagerende, vann- oppløselig forbindelse av aluminium i en mengde fra 0,1 til 3 vekt-%, beregnet som AI2O3 og i forhold til pigmentet hhv. fyllstoffet, og en vannoppløselig, alkalisk reager- nde forbindelse av aluminium i en mengde fra 0,1 til 3 vekt-% beregnet som AI2O3 og i forhold til pigmentet hhv. fyllstoffet, til pigment- eller fyllstoffsuspensjonen samtidig eller etter hverandre og i et slikt mengdeforhold at det ved slutten av tilsetningen er inn- stilt en pH-verdi fra 4 til 10 i suspensjonen, uten at ytterligere sure eller alkalisk reager- ende komponenter blir tilsatt.
