Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av prismeformede, alkaliske akkumulatorceller med firkanttverrsnitt, hvor det fremstilles en elektrodekomponentgruppe bestående av positive og negative elektroder (10, 11) med mellomliggende separatorer (12) og et deksel (14) av kunststoff, som har gjennomføringer og tilslutningskontakter (16) for elektrodene (10,11). Etter fylling av et hus (24) av kunststoff med en avmålt elektrolyttmengde (25) blir elektrodekomponentgruppen trinnvis og med pauser senket ned i huset slik at den tørre elektrodepakken kan suge seg full av elektrolytt uten at elektrolytten strømmer ut av huset (24). Når dekselet (14) sitter på huset (24), kan begge delene sveises absolutt tett med hverandre. For oppbygning av et eventuelt, også høyt overtrykk, ved ikke håndtering av akkumulatorcellen, inneholder dekselet (14) i en formnisje (18) en gummistift (19), som tildekker en inn i husets indre førende dekselboring (20), og en kunststoffkule (21), som er presset inn i formnisjen (18) til dekselet (14) og som fastholder gummistiften (19). Ved lite overtrykk løfter gummistiften (19) seg fra boringen (20) og lar gass trenge strømme ut. Ved svært høyt, plutselig overtrykk svinges gummistiften (19) og kulen (21) ut.
