Abstract
Denne oppfinnelse tilsetter elementer så som Cu, B, Cr, Ca, V osv., til en ståltype med lavt karboninnhold, høyt Mn-Ni-Mo-innhold og spor av Ti, og gjør at stålet kan ha en herdet martensitt/bainitt-blandingsstruktur inneholdende minst 60% herdet martensitt om- vandlet fra ikke-omkrystallisert austenitt med en middel-austenittkornstørrelse (dy), som ikke er større enn 10 j«n som mikrostruk- tur, eller en herdet martensittstruktur som inneholder minst 90% martensitt omvandlet fra ikke-omkrystallisert austenitt. Den forelig- gende oppfinnelse gir videre en P-verdi i området 1,9-4,0, og tilveiebringer således et stål med ultrahøy styrke, med en strekkfast- het på minst 950 MPa (ikke lavere enn 100 - ifølge API-standarden), og som har utmerket lavtemperatur-seighet, HAZ-seighet og felt- sveisbarhet i kalde områder.
