Abstract

Det er beskrevet et forgassingsanlegg (10) for delvis forbrenning av en karbonholdig brennstoffblanding i forbrenningskammeret (13) til forgassingsanlegget (10). Sistnevnte innbefatter et vannbad (26), hvori de varme utløpsstrømmene eller forbrenningsproduktene føres inn, innbefattende en syntetisk gass. Forbrenningsproduktene føres inn i badet (26) ved hjelp av en strupeseksjon (31). For å unngå en stor errosjonsvirkning og/eller termisk sjokk for strupeseksjonen (31) som et resultat til eksponering til utløpsstrømmenes høye temperatur, er strupeseksjonen (31) konstruert med et indre rammeverk av rør (32). Rammeverket (32) kommuniserer med en trykkilde av kjølefluid (42), fortrinnsvis vann, for derved å avkjøle strupeseksjonen (31) tilstrekkelig til å motvirke de negative virkningene av eksponeringen mot utløpsstrømmene med høy temperatur.
