Abstract
Det er beskrevet et apparat for måling av elektrisk effekt, og hvor apparatet er tilpasset for å frembringe et utgangssignal proporsjonalt med produktet av en forsyningsspenning (3) og strømmen (1) som flyter gjennom en tilkoblet belastning. Et første signal (10) proporsjonalt med forsyningsspenningen og et andre signal (9) proporsjonalt med belastningsstrømmen utnyttes for å modulere perioden av to bærebølgesignaler med konstant frekvens. Gjennomsnittet for i det minste ett av de modulerte signaler bestemmes ved hjelp av signalbehandlings- utstyr for å frembringe en referanseverdi for apparatet. Multiplisering av de modulerte signaler ved hjelp av mikroprosessoren frembringer effektproduktutgangssignalet. Påfølgende verdier av det periodemodulerte spenningsrelaterte signal oppsamles. Den oppsamlede verdi låses periodisk og mates til en datamaskin. En pulsteller og en tidsstyringskrets kan anordnes for å motta og måle det spenningsrelaterte periodevarierende signal.
