Postsorteringsinnretaing hvor en skråstilt basreflate (14) samvirker med en styrinnretning (41), hvor et antall skyveflater er (42) adskilt langs bæreflaten (14) og bevegelige fra et bakre stopp (BK) mot et fremre stopp (FR) tilstøtende den øvre endekant (20) av bæreflaten. Bæreflaten (14) bærer et antall flate, rektangulære post- gjenstander (7) gruppert i bunker (STK) anordnet mellom tilstøtende skyveflater (42); og sorteringsinnretningen (1) har en gripe-og-bære-innreming (70) som vender mot endekanten (20) av bæreflaten, og som i sin tur har et gripehode (85) bevegelig til og fra bæreflaten (14) for å trekke en postgjenstand om gangen ut av bunken og mate denne til en transportinnretning. Styreinnretningen (41) sørger for mating av skyveflatene (42) tilbake fra det fremre stopp (FR) til det bakre stopp (BK).
